How to Make a Charcuterie Wreath Board With Salami Roses.

Salami rose tutorial for charcuterie snack boards. Elevate your party food here!

Yesterday we celebrated my mother-in-law's 70th birthday, so I wanted to create something extra special for her and for the party guests. I found this cute and clever charcuterie wreath board idea on Instagram and couldn't wait to make one of my very own.

Charcuterie Boards are trending now, so I thought this wreath board would be a brilliant conversational piece to add to the dinner table.

Have you ever noticed how much a cheese board can bring people together? Especially if it's a pretty tasty one!

Read along to learn how you can create your own DIY Charcuterie Wreath Board with Salami roses.

How to Make a Salami Rose

First layer 5-6 salami slices in a row.

Then roll each layer loosely together

Next, cut the roll in half

Secure the layers with a toothpick at the bottom of the salami roll.

Roll the layers downward, starting with the outer layer.

Select a round board. I found my beautiful wooden Lazy Susan platter board with black rod iron details at Target in the Hearth and Hand Section (pictured above).

Add your favorite greenery or herbs

Arrange your favorite cheeses, meats, desserts, appetizers in a circular shape. Start your design with your larger items first. This is where you can have fun arranging each food item into layering groups to make your appetizer platter aesthetically pleasing.

Lastly, Add your final touches such as your smaller toppings or extra greenery to fill in any gaps and a bow to complete your wreath board.

The wonderful thing about creating a charcuterie board is that the possibilities are limitless. You can easily add your favorite sweet and salty mix and toss in a few of your favorite appetizers. There is no right or wrong to your creation. Below is the recipe I used to make my version of this cute wreath platter.

Ingredients

Salami

Gouda cheese

Mozzarella cheese

Cheddar cheese

Pepperoni

Chocolate

Cinnamon rolls

Dried Raspberries

Candy canes
