I created a blog!

Updated: Jan 31

Welcome Friends! I am so excited to share my new blog with you. This blog is dedicated to my loyal readers and friends who have opened their hearts and home to my cause. As you may already know, I created The Gifted Wreath Collection back in 2017 as a way to raise awareness and funds for my son's cause. My son suffers from a rare, progressive, life shortening nerve disorder called Friedreich's Ataxia (FA). Procreeds from my shop benefits The Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance ( a non profit 501 (C) organization dedicated to curing FA). You can learn more about the cause here.

Since 2017, The Gifted Wreath has sold over 500 wreaths, and has earned over 20k in sales, making this small shop one of the largest grass root fundraisers in Virginia Beach. It is because of loyal supporters like you that makes giving back possible, and most importantly, is making research possible. FARA is the nation's leading catalyst for funding and providing clinical trails in efforts to cure this devastating disorder. Each clinical trial can cost around 2 million dollars! And because of these grass root fundraisers such as The Gifted Wreath, FARA has been able to conduct multiple clinical trials through their pipeline. FAmilies like mine remain hopeful for a cure and believe we are making promising strides as research continues! If you would like to help our cause, you can visit my Etsy Shop here. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Now that we are well on our way to seeing big things happen with research, I thought this would be the perfect time to create a blog to help keep my supporters up to date. On this blog site I will post any breakthroughs in clinical trials, share my behind the shop scenes, share my wreath making tips and tricks, conduct flash sales for my readers only, and so much more! I hope you will keep checking the blog to see the progress in research and to build a community of hope to those suffering with FA. We like to call our FA community, FAmily. Thank you for being here for us! #wreaths #weddingwreath #homedecor
