Easy DIY Hoop Wreath Tutorial//
Hi friends! Today I am sharing with you a simple way to make a beautiful lambs ear wreath without using a glue gun.
Did you know you can still make a durable, long lasting wreath without using hot glue? In fact, most modern wreaths being made now a days don’t require any glue at all.
One of the most trending wreaths out on the market today are floral hoop wreaths. You may have seen them in baby nurseries, toddler rooms, used as wedding décor, used as centerpieces, and used in other decorative ways.
I am here to show you how you can make your own beautiful DIY Wreath without any glue. Trust me, it’s super easy!
Materials Needed
You guys! This wreath is so simple to make and can be easily adapted to your liking. The sizing, fullness, and accessories you come up with are all part of the fun and creative wreath making process. Enjoy!
First, measure your space that you will be hanging your wreath, then choose an embroidery hoop size that will work best for that space.
Determine how many lambs ear leaves you would like to place around your wooden ring. Do you want just a few stems to create a half moon shape, or are you looking to cover the whole ring? Make sure you have enough lambs ears for your desired design by playing around with the arrangement first.
Once you know how many lambs ear leaves you’ll be using, you now can cut your jute string long enough to tie your lambs ears around the embroidery hoop.
Pro tip: It’s best to cut longer strands as you can always trim the access strings off when you are finished knotting. In my demonstration, I placed two knotted strings per lambs ear so that the lambs ears are tightly secured from top to bottom stem around the hoop ring.
